The Global Soil Week is piloted by TMG — Töpfer, Müller, Gaßner — Think Tank for Sustainability, an organization based in Berlin working to empower sustainability transformations by building bridges between different knowledge holders and connecting various communities of practice. As an independent partner, TMG works with academia, governments, the private sector and civil society to examine entrenched sustainability challenges, identify new opportunities and initiate innovative solutions for the implementation of international sustainable development agendas.
The Global Soil Week is made possible with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for Economy Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ GmbH), as well as with the invaluable support from co-hosting governments and official partners.
